Swa. Sawarkar Mahavidyalaya is run by Bharatiya Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha, Ambajogai. The institute observes the vison, mission and goals as a commitment for active participation in the continuous process of enhancement and assurance of quality education. It strives for in student centric activities leading to building up of an ideal citizen. College with establishment in 1995 got recognition for its academic excellence in its tenure of twenty one years. The faculties have contributed in the development of the curricular activities at various levels. Teaching, learning and evaluation activities optimized with computer aids and support system are the salient features of the college. Curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities are planned & implemnted for achieving the mission of the institute. The faculties are actively involed in research and publications. The activities organized through NSS, LLLED always focus the Mission Statement ‘Nation building through man making and character building. College has essential infrastructure, laboratory and allied facilities for providing quality education as per requirements. Keeping pace with timely demands, arrangements are made for maximum utilisation of available infrastructure and resourses. Students have ample scope right from planning and implementation of activities, which facilitate grooming leadership qualities. The contribution of alumni and other external stakeholders is helpful for students in shaping career. Informal relationship among stakeholders is the strength and proved fruitful to inculcate healthy life skills and achieving progression.

            Visonary top management has evolved the quality policies in the form of Vidyasabha, which is a platform for teachers’ academic leadership in planning, and execution of activities ensuring quality education. The structure framed by the college is a good example reaching towards good governance policies in a decentralised way. Quality is appropriately monitored through IQAC. The innovative ideas and best practices mentioned in the SSR are outcome of healthy relations among stakeholders and policies of the management. The SSR, as a document, is an expression of quality initiative, quality sustenance and quality enhancement activities by the college in higher education.
